Here’s what some of our runners have said about previous races

A well organised event, with extensive hill climbs around 2km and 8km. A most enjoyable and rewarding morning – thank you so much

Lovely country 10k. This is a lovely 10k race through the countryside around Godalming in the heart of the Surrey Hills, including a section through the grounds of Charterhouse public school, so picture postcard stuff.
Mike Melrose
“I’m a member of Guildford and Godalming Running Club so really enjoy taking part in events like this. The Godalming Run is a really good event, quite hilly and tough in places, but I like a challenge.”
Tom Blamey
“I like to support local runs and this is a great event for a worthy cause. The setting is fantastic; you can’t get any better. It was so well organised and I enjoyed taking part, even though there were two very tough hills!”
Daniel Hull, 2016 10k winner
“The route was super and I managed to run all the way despite there being some uneven terrain. I had lots of encouragement all the way round from the marshals and other runners. I can’t recommend this run enough.”
Para-athlete Chris Arthey
“I compete at a national and international level and hope to get to the Olympics, which is why funding from Sport Godalming is so important to me. It enables me to have the right kit for my boat, to train, to travel and compete at the highest level possible. Funds raised through the run will help aspiring Olympians like me to fulfil our
dreams.” Aspiring Olympian Patrick Croghan,
