Registration / Number Collection:
Registration will be inside the Wilfrid Noyce Centre, adjacent to the Crown Court Car Park, and will open at 9.00am. All runners must pick up their race package from the Wilfrid Noyce Centre. Registration will be split into alphabetical order by surname and not race distance.
All Race Packs will include a race number and safety pins. Numbers need to be placed on the front of your race t-shirt/top so this is visible for the marshals.
If you are running in the 5K or 10K events, your Race Pack will also include a timing chip which must be tied / fixed securely to your shoe laces. We will have demo shoes available on the day to help.
Once you have collected your Race Pack, please head down to the start line located in the Philips Memorial Park / Bandstand and make your way to the designated waiting area to be called.
Fun Run 10.00
10k at 10.30am
You are responsible for your own race warm up. We will not be providing a pre-event warm up for any of the races.
We would like to remind runners who have entered the 10K that the course includes a stretch of off-road trail paths in and around Charterhouse. Please ensure your running shoes are suitable for both terrains.
A water station will be available on the 5K & 10K course at circa 3K & 6K and an additional water stop for the 10K runners at circa 8K.
The route within Charterhouse School and grounds will be marked by red flags which will be positioned on your right-hand side. Please ensure you stick close to these flags to ensure you remain on the correct route.
Some direction arrows will be in place to help direct you around the course – so please keep an eye on this.
Marshals will be position all over the course to help assist and support you with any problems or questions. If you have any issues on the day then please contact your nearest marshal (they will be wearing a hi-vis jacket so should be easy to spot)
The start of the Fun Run will be a different direction to the 5K and 10K race. Please ensure you listen carefully to the instructions given at the start/finish line.
This is a running event, so no walkers. Roads will be reopened at 1.00pm. If you are still on the course at this point you are responsible for finding your own way back to the start/finish line.
Medals will only be awarded to runners who cross the finish line and are wearing a race number. No race number, no medal.
Toilets are available in the Wilfrid Noyce Centre and there are also public toilets available in Crown Court.
No dogs are permitted to run in any of the races
St Johns Ambulance will be providing mobile first aid cover throughout the event and will be based at the start/finish line. If you have any issues during the race, please contact your nearest marshal.
Results will be available for the 5K & 10K races instantly via the Godalming Run website or by clicking here
Parking is available all day in Crown Court Car Park (with overflow parking at the Waverley Borough Council Car Park).
If using SAT NAV, please use the postcode GU7 1HR which will bring you to the WBC car park. Borough Road will be closed from 10am and during the event so please ensure you use the car parks available.
